Sosti Ropaitis brings 15+ years of corporate leadership and strategic marketing experience, leading multinational organizations, with a strong history of building revenue across different countries, and delivering 360 customer-centric marketing campaigns. His experience ps branded content, social media/influencer strategy, integrated marketing, PR and localization of international digital initiatives. Sosti was recognized as a notable digital marketing thought leader in 2015 on the iMedia Top 25 Marketing Innovators List.
Before MediaLink, Sosti was the global director of digital marketing and music for McDonald’s, where he was responsible for the strategy, creation and syndication of global marketing programs that engage consumers in multiple countries. In March 2015, Ropaitis set the overall digital strategy and led the engagement team that launched “I’m Lovin’ It 24,” an integrated marketing campaign that ran 24 branded “stunts” in 24 countries in 24 hours. It was the largest real-time marketing initiative in the history of the company. During his time with McDonald’s, Sosti served as the digital marketing team lead for SXSW 2015, the London 2012 and Sochi 2014 Olympics, as well as the content marketing lead for the FIFA World Cup in 2014.
Prior to joining McDonald’s, Sosti has led marketing teams for Hilton and Kraft Foods. He holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Louisville and a BSc in Economics from Brunel University in London.
