Melanie brings 12 years of brand marketing and legal experience to MediaLink. In her role as Vice President, Melanie works with MediaLink’s clients across the marketing and media landscape, and guides best-practices related to global contract consolidation and negotiation, agency optimization, brand positioning and acceleration, and media agency reviews.
Prior to joining MediaLink, Melanie worked as a Legal and Corporate Development Consultant – serving as an adjunct to in-house counsel. As a licensed attorney, Melanie guided the legal strategies for global entertainment marketing agencies and lifestyle brands, advising on matters related to company formation and expansion, contract negotiation, campaign development and the subsequent legal implications presented across various workstreams.
Melanie began her career in brand marketing in 2006, and achieved several years of success as the Vice President of Marketing at BMF Media, and later, United Entertainment Group. There, she led an energetic team of strategists and executed award-winning and revenue-generating B2B and B2C initiatives for brands including: Heineken, ESPN, Nike, Ebay, MHUSA, Smuckers, Polaroid, Atlantic City, Hard Rock Hotels, Bose, ASICS, The North Face, REVOLT TV and more. In her role, she also worked in close collaboration with legal affairs; fully-immersed in structuring, negotiating, and closing talent endorsement, content, brand partnership, and global retainer deals.
Melanie graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A in Communications and Business Institutions and holds a J.D. from New York Law School.
