Jennifer “Jen” Seley brings over a decade of communications strategy and media relations experience to MediaLink. In her role, as vice president of communications, she is responsible for communicating the MediaLink brand to journalists, conference organizers and other external and internal stakeholders.
Prior to joining MediaLink in 2017, Jen spent four years at Powell, an agency specializing in PR strategy and media relations for marketers, media and agencies. She directed numerous accounts spanning both holding company-owned and independent creative and digital agencies, Fortune 500 senior marketers, trade organizations, Oscar-winning production companies and emerging technology pioneers. She also served as a strategy lead across the agency’s clients, playing an instrumental role in developing positioning, messaging, and a long-term pipeline of ideas to guide clients towards the brand marketers and talent with whom they most wanted to work.
Jen also spent three years at Rubenstein Public Relations as a PR generalist, leading accounts in industries as varied as small business, retail/ecommerce, politics, health and wellness, real estate, entertainment, and beauty. She began her career at Weber Shandwick in the Corporate Issues practice, working with private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds and government entities as they navigated the start of the Great Recession. Jen holds a B.A. in government from Cornell University.
