Brett Kassan Smith began her career in the publicity industry. While working at Hypnotic, she managed marketing programs, special events and public relations working for clients such as Chrysler, Reebok, Coca Cola and Nintendo. After serving as a marketing manager for Dennis Publishing, Smith joined Bragman, Nyman, Cafarelli as Head of Events in the firm’s New York office. There she managed, produced, and oversaw all of the marketing and branding events as well as marketing and sponsorship promotions for BNC’s clientele.
Most recently, Smith served as director of Integrated Marketing Services at Condé Nast Media Group. Responsible for the oversight of merchandising and promotion efforts, Smith produced integrated marketing programs for corporate clients in categories including automotive, financial, beauty, technology, travel, pharmaceuticals, and fashion. She also led in the implementation and execution of various Condé Nast Media Group programs in addition to customized programs for clients like Dove, Lexus, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, and Philips.
